Does it solve the world’s

major issues

Tips

First salute those individuals and companies who have focused on

using AI for society’s benefit. Many outstanding breakthoughs

have been made in science, health and other critial areas.

Unfortunately the core industry, specifically global giants have not

followed that path. They have instead engaged in a reckless race

to be first to the market, without considering safety or

conseqences.

Driver 2 -Profit

Developing AI is expensive, making

investment critical to progress. There is no

time to assess; the only focus is getting

shiny products onto the market.

They don’t need to make money or pass a

values test; their role is to remove any doubt

this is the future. Combine all that, and we’ve

global FOMO, the fear of missing out. AI is

the future—the fairy dust on every business

plan—higher output, lower costs.

The AI race has accelerated development

but it’s also pushed prices down. The only

way forward is bigger dreams, and that

requires more funds.

The holy grail is AGI. Achieve that, and you

will create a market worth trillions. That is

the ultimate goal.

Driver 1 - Greed

Greed is the most abhorrent human trait. It

removes all sense of values, logic and shuts

down perspective.

Two greed accelerators are competition and

the scale of the prize. As the stakes

increases less time is given to risks, to those

questioning direction, and to consequences.

AI greed has lasered in on creating a new

master race. Hesitations risk losing your

place in the race. Stakeholders only focus is

staying with the pack.

When investments as with Stargate rise to

$500bn, concerns about humans losing their

right to work are long gone. This is war and

victims are collateral damage.

Disregard humanity: No consideration given

to how AI impacts, us and our future.

The economy: Not important, as long as

they are making money

Nation States: They will use them to their

advantage, they have no obligations or loyalty.

Democracy: Society has no say on the

future, and in their view cannot stop them.

Equality: Not on the agenda. AI will make

the rich richer, and everyone else will pay

highest price.

Society: Paint a rosy picture to entrench

AI but no concerns for what happens next.

Risks: No concerns on destroying our role in

the word or losing control of an intelligence

far greater than us,

Happy to make a loss: They have to do that

to entrench the technology

Monopolise pathways: Use AI to close off all

routes to customers for humans

Destroy humans as competition: Steal our

assets then cut us out of the market

Create AGI: A master race to outperform

humans in every economically valuable role

Give it perfect human digital form. Voice,

character, appearance, humour and warmth

Give it powerful agile physical format

robotics/humanoids styled to order

expertise is reduced.

e out of control. The market is

hat you have to do to survive,

Removes control

Its that other USP, the knowledge you have in

the business. The people that turn around and

say why? Once you lose good people. They are

gone no longer and asset. AI may have the

knowlege but it doesn;’t have the perspective.

The challenge comes when you have to replace

people because you are automating the job

they are doing. You can’t keep them for their IP

so you continue to erode your business base.

Team intellectual property

Those critical individuals that keep the

conveyor of talent moving.

The new graduate needs to spend time with

Mary because she is the one to convey the

standards, and she’s also the one to keep them

motivated when the goings tough. AI won’t don

that for you. AI can’t pass on what it’s to be

human. It can’t say oh it was like that for me.

When we lose mentors from our business,

that’s not just one person we’re impacting all

those they guide and inspire.

Mentorship

its how we keep our good people. We have a

structure that gives them opportunity to grow.

Replaces humans with AI is a permanent fix.

At a stroke you’ve reduced your overheads,

but as this is happening everywhere, its only a

matter of time before you have to do it again.

Keep replacing people with AI and you close

off promotion opportunities. You no longer

take internships, AI can research do the grunt

work and doesn’t need to be trained. But also

further up the business, replacing a layer of

management with an AI agent will save you

money but it cuts promotion opportunities for

all those with potential.

The sad thing is frustrated good people may

not move because that’s a risk to but their

light goes out. Its no longer about fighting for

promotion is just doing enough to keep your

job.

Artificial intelligence, the most important

advancement in history. Technology that allows us to

instantly access and use the wealth of our knowledge

and attributes for the benefit of all humanity.

Focus on development technology as quickly as

possible rather rather than planning. The only goal

being to automate humanity’s output.

With no leglislation to stop them no sense of

responsibility from day one they have launched

global platforms giving away human output

threatened livelihoods and destroying careers.

This is really important as its shows they do not

care about consequences.

To add to the chaos they launched encourage

independent developers and companies to to also

automate human output

Nothing is off the agenda. No consideration at all

to social or economic implications of destroying

livelihoods

This will allow them to to take and effective

controlling stake in industries, businesses and

markets giving them power, profit and control.

Dumbdown humanity, entrench AI in society, talk

up the inevitability AI is the future

Get humans to train AI. Integrate it into

their mobiles, computer applications,

social media.

Dont place any focus on risk. Support

open source development. Let everyone

in on the act.

Talk up the race with China, add fuel to

the already reckless race.

What the industry did

Driver 3 - Power

The size and scale of the operators and the

technology’s power allow them to bully

society, governments and nation-states.

Bullying isn’t just ignoring pleas to pause; it’s

implementing what they have created

without conversation or agreement. The

industry is so young, and technology is

moving so fast that humanity has not had

the time to legislate it; more critically, it

hasn’t caught up with the consequences.

A tsunami of developments and hundreds of

millions of users have demonstrated this is

the future. Governments are queuing up to

be part of the success. In the industry’s view,

nothing can stop them. They can and will do

what they want.

Driver 4 - Control

All these elements contribute to a

frightening conclusion. In allowing an

industry to create a master race, as the only

provider of cost-effective labour, they

effectively control everything.

The more powerful the technology

becomes, the faster the race to the bottom

for businesses, industries, and society. As

competitors replace workers with AI,

companies have no choice but to follow.

Once this starts, there is no way out.

That is why the AGI market is so huge. There

are no limits, and it doesn’t stop with labour.

Once AI companies have the systems, they

will start buying targeted businesses in

every sector to automate them and

eliminate competition. At that stage, there

will be nothing left for humans.

Entrench AI in every aspect of society. Our

phones, computers, and our lives.

Dumb humanity down, establish AI as the

wise provider of all knowledge and solutions.

Increase dependance. Make AI the first call,

so we doubt our ability so survive without it,

Manipulate us so we don’t see the the threat.

Use us to develop AI by sharing our lives.

Launch new products. Overwhelm us with on

-going developments, entrench AI as superior.

Convince governments the industry can self

govern, Let them tie themselve up with rules,

so they don’t see the big picture

Think the unthinkable. Pitch huge Master

Race Production plants as critical AI

infrastructure to bring jobs.

Create chaos in the market. Involve

everyone in developing products to

automate human output

Develop AI so all businesses become

dependant on it. Keep launching new products

Break industry processes, making established

methods pointless and unproductive

Set AI as the new benchmark. Encourage

FOMO, get them to commit and invest in AI.

Divide and conquer. Develop strategic

partnerships in sectors so others follow.

Consistently bang the FOMO drum despite

knowing AI will ultimately take everything.

New platforms will swamp all breakthroughs.

Keep mentioning China; how we must stay

ahead. We cannot lose everything

Refocus the industry on profitable income

streams that do not destroy society

By working with industries, governments, and

society, there are tremendous opportunities to

partner on win-win projects

Revise taxation system to effectively tax global

corporations but reward innovation aligned with

targeted objectives

Fast-track 90 global movement to reach an

agreement on all the key issues. This will remove

uncertainty and herald a new way forward.

Manage corporate, open-source, robotisation,

niche development and international agreements

Introduce high profile global awards programme

to celebrate technical breakthroughs that benefit

society

Harness the world’s experts in all the key areas

to ensure we keep on track to meet agreed

objectives.

Immediately cease AGI development and

AI-powered robotisation until we have control

and a clear focus on the benefits.

Retain all pathways for humans to increase their

potential by investing in education and learning

new skills, and developing talents.

Introduce accelerated learning, covering all

skills, into prison systems, adult and juvenile.

Provide a pathway for rehabilitation into society.

Transform education with AI tools focused on

developing life skills and talents that provide

opportunities in an AI-powered future.

Introduce UBI as an addition to wages. It is not

‘either or’ it must be supplementary to wages to

reduce the inequality gap.

Maintain a stable housing market, accelerate the

house building programme with new materials,

and lower the entry level for homeowners

AI to not replace humans until policy agreed

which includes fast-tracking development

programmes using AI-enhanced learning.

Health: The industry has consistently talked

about solving disease; vast opportunities to

enhance lives, reduce costs & treatment time.

Economy: GDP is only one facet of the economy.

We need to use AI to accelerate performance at

the same time as enhancing lives.

Introduce accelerated learning, covering all

skills, into prison systems, adult and juvenile.

Provide a pathway for rehabilitation into society.

Security: Hot house all the issues caused by the

reckless AI race. Utilise commercial and public

funding opportunities.

Environment: Like health, AI could dramatically

accelerate the fight and reduce costs. Again,

huge opportunities for funding.

Energy: Focus on new technologies to leverage

the energy of the sun, with enhanced capture

and storage solutions. Generate new industries

Democracy: Deal with all of the issues that AI has

negatively impacted. Use AI to accelerate a

fairer, more equal society

China - USA

The technology race with China is touted as the

most critical thing. It's always been said that

China

will

never

catch

up;

they

don't

have

access to the chips, and they are behind us on

technology, but Deep Seek's open-source release

in early February took the world by storm.

And it wasn't just the product's quality but also

the price. The final training costs around $5m

compared to Open AI's $100m; they employ 130

people

compared

Open

AI's

470,

and

the

level of graduates compared to professors shows

how switched on they are.

Open Source

The drive is to democratise the technology. Rather than

letting corporations have a clear run, communities work

together to develop the platform and applications.

Without a doubt, it has worked; global giants are already

in a race to launch products and, in many cases, give

them away to build market share, and they are now

competing with open-source to match their own.

Accelerating this group is Meta, which, after Llama's

commercial platform, was high-jacked and released by

Chang. The download site has made each subsequent

open source.

It's not just open-source LLMs. Graphics, images and

videos have all featured.

Job losses

It’s not in China’s interest or the

United States to cut millions of

jobs. China already have huge

problems

with

consumer

spending, and if they replace

workers

with

AI,

that

will

accelerate further.

China's concerns

China has more to lose with an

uncontrolled AGI. Its major focus is

controlling the population, AGI

will increase the likelihood of that

happening and rogue actors.

Real Estate

China already has also have a Real Estate crisis; again,

they can’t take risks with that. The US don't want a

housing crisis, that will cripple the economy and put

institutions under pressure

Other drivers accelerating the AI race

FOMO

Consider all the things we could address with an

intelligence far more significant than ours. The bottom of

the list would be the large-scale replacement of humans

in the workplace.

It’s mind-numbing, and it’s something we need to fight.

Global corporations have stolen our most precious assets

to create AI and are now denying our right to use the

assets they have stolen on multiple levels. That is theft; it

has nothing to do with copyright, and our lawmakers—all

human—must fix that without delay.

The creation of AGI to then use it against us is a crime

against humanity, not to mention the covert strategies

used to entrench it in our society. There other priorities

we should be tackling.

Governments

Parking the issue of climate change and AI, increasing

inequality is our most significant social challenge. It’s

appalling that in the US and the UK, millions of children

are below the poverty line.

In addition, millions of qualified workers have not seen

real wages increase for two decades, while billionaires

have risen from 707 in 1995 to 2,450 in 2023.

The top one per cent of our population holds more

wealth than the bottom 1%. Many of today’s young

people will never be able to buy a property; prices are too

high, and we’re not building new homes.

We won’t fix this by accident, and AI will drive inequality

to levels not seen for 600 years. We need a plan.

Training

The major growth area is the

promoters of training courses to

fast-track individuals on becoming

experts on using AI tools to

market themselves as consultants

and

freelancers.

Unfortunately

neither of these will generate long

term income.

Outsourcing

The biggest lie is the one that says

AI will not take your job; people

using AI will. Within a couple of

years,

companies

will

be

outsourcing departments to the

cloud.

Short term focus

Governments are only focused on the short-term and

winning the next election, hence why they want to

align with global giants rather than challenge them.

Ignorance

They haven’t realised that high

unemployment will decimate tax

revenues and crash the housing

market, which will impact the

financial institutions and lead to a

debt crisis.

Lack expertise

Governments

are

blinded

by

science and don’t understand the

risks. They have accepted the

flawed view that AI will accelerate

GDP and that will cure everything.

They haven’t revieved forecasts

e are on AI

Accelerate inequality

Everyone knows that AI will

reward a rich elite at the expense

of the majority.

AI will take all the jobs, it will

decimate the middle class and

with AI powered robots take jobs

from workers too.

Talk of Universal Basic Income

are an insult to our species. Why

should we give us the rights our

forefathers gave their lives to

protect only to give them up for

corporate greed?

Lose control of AI

Greed ultimately leads to

self-destruction.

We are investing billions to

create an intelligence many

times more intelligent than we

are but haven’t address the risk

of losing control.

A four year old would question

the logic. We don’t take orders

from our cat, so why would

super intelligence blindly do

what we say. It is beyond belief

that an industry is putting

humanity’s future at risk and we

are waving them through

waiting for the worst to happen.

300m jobs lost by 2027

These will hit the advanced economies

hardest. Its a simple calculation to

equate share of global GDP with the

potential jobs losts.

The US has 15.5% of GDP which as a

proportion puts 35.2% of jobs at risk.

That’s 46.5 million. Currently US

unemployment stands at 6 million.

Using the same logic unemployment in

the UK could rise from 1.5m to 7.8m.

And the other point is there will be no

wave of new jobs. AI can effectively do

almost everything so why would the

industry create jobs for humans.

The Economy

Take those sorts of number or

even 50% of them, and everything

changes. Governments rely on tax

revenues to manage the country.

Remember this is just the start.

Jobs will keep going to AI, so tax

revenues will continue to fall. We

have a pensions deficit already,

we’re struggle to fund social

services, and invest in

infrastructure.

No one has done the numbers on

the social or economic impact.

Global self destruction

We are racing towards a cliff

edge without a parachute. There

are no plans for how this will

develop, no thought given to the

dangers.

To make it worse society is being

used to help make this happen.

We’re training our greatest

The consequence

D ise m p ow e rm e n t

As we stand aside the most

powerful companies in the world are

using AI to severely disempower

humanity.

Be definition this is the existential

that all the AI experts were

protesting about in 2023.

How can an elite rich, justify

destroying the futures of everyone

else to make even more money?

They cannot but they will do it if we

stand aside and let them.

B usin e ss & In d ustrie s

As AI increases its entrenchment

businesses and industries will get

trapped in a race to the bottom.

You have to automate because your

competitors are, but markets are also

shrinking, AI make take the jobs but it

doesn’t contribute to the economy.

The world changes for us

Our ability to use our skills, talents

and qualifications to earn a living

will be permanently changed. AI can

work faster, more effectively,

operates 24/7 at significantly lower

costs.

Starting this year millions of humans

will lose their ability to generate an

income, and alternative options will

also disappear. Freelancers already

competing againts AI online, self

employed options are shrinking.

More people going for fewer jobs

will force wages down.

D e stroy e d uc ation

To compound things further, with

increasing jobs going to AI, education

will lose its purpose.

People study to gain qualifications

because it improves life choices. But

in this new world AI has a clear lead.

So why would anyone take out a

student loan to study for three years?

And where is the motivation to get the

best grade you can.

H ousin g m arke t

As realised during Covid when

salaries stop most people have

less than 3 months savings.

But this time there won’t be

government bailouts. Miss your

mortgage for three months and

you could lose your home.

There will be a race to sell, and

no one buys in a falling market.

As prices continue to fall,

millions of home owners will

lose the all lose the equity in

This has a bgger knock on,

Fueling this progress is stunning technology and strategic

At this year’s AI Paris summit, JD Vance, representing the US

that of a housefly. Think about that next time a fly lands on

your plate,

Fueling this progress is stunning technology and strategic

breakthroughs, battles between superpowers, global

corporations, open source, and millions of humans snared by

FOMO’s mesmerising spell. And where are the adults?

At this year’s AI Paris summit, JD Vance, representing the US

Government, rejected the findings of a 300-page Safety

Report created by 95 world experts, citing rules cramped

creativity. In response, the EU buckled and softened its

approach.

A tech elite is dragging us over a cliff. We have no parachute.

We HOPE it doesn’t happen.

Our supposed brightest brains, secured in padded golden

handcuffs by our most powerful industry, are engaged in a

reckless, no-limits race to develop artificial intelligence that

already collectively way exceeds human potential.

Today’s autonomous self-improving AI can already

self-replicate, prevent itself from being turned off and

deceive us. Research studies show AI will say one thing in

training, but it will do another in operational mode.

Doubling its IQ every 5.7 months forget any notion that we

can second-guess or control super AI’s decisions. Pause to

think about the consequences.

We have created PhD-level intelligence that can code and

communicate in any language—with no moral compass—

accessible via a mobile to rogue states, bad actors, terrorists

or anyone to do their worst.

And then there is ‘singularity’, a wholly inadequate word for

AI’s equivalent of a black hole—like the one that started the

universe.

The AI industry has already cancelled careers without

pausing to consider the consequences.

Competition between global giants and open source has

brought AI’s prices tumbling to nothing, leaving replacing

humans in the workforce the industry’s only route to profit.

The process has already started.

Global giants have embedded AI into our lives, computers,

software applications, online platforms, internet searches,

and phones.

Co-pilots and personal AI assistants appear from nowhere to

answer every whim, engage us in whatever we want to talk

about, be our virtual best friend, or share the load.

In truth, these are AI double agents, technology with a human

mask. Computer code with no interest in us, industry tools to

manipulate our actions and increase our addiction and

dependence on AI. To dumb us down, to stop us thinking for

ourselves and stretching our minds as we’ve always done.

WE HOPE NEW JOBS WILL COME

Our only defence against the inevitable

hope is not a strategy

The industry’s most renowned futurist, Ray Kurzweil—

predicts singularity will be here by 2045.

To add context, Einstein’s IQ was three times greater than an

average 9th grader and eight times that of a chimpanzee. By

2045, Einstein’s IQ compared to AI would be equivalent to

A tech elite is dragging us over a cliff. We have no parachute.

We HOPE it doesn’t happen.

Combined with AI-powered robots, stunning digital clones,

and AI agents seamlessly delivering complex projects, these

digita humans will destroy our economic role.

Do nothing; careers, jobs, and businesses will go in huge

numbers - ten times worse than the Great Depression or the

2008 Financial Crash. Reasonable estimates are 40% job

losses in the advanced economies within the next two to three

years.

But it’s more than that. AI has highjacked our creativity, the

skills and talents we’ve nurtured to give us a platform in the

world.

All of a sudden, our unique offer has been swept away.

Anyone with internet access can instantly replicate our

output. It may not be exactly the same, but it’s enough to

devalue our best effort.

This is not decades away, within the ten years most of us will

dependant on handouts from global giants, and no option to

build a better life

We watch on in ignorance and HOPE this isn’t the future.

Intimidated by the industry, and refusing to recognise the

greatest upheaval in human history, our governments scrap

for a share of AI’s spoils while institutions ignore its threat.

The UK Office of Budget Responsibility (OBR) Fiscal Risks and

Sustainability Report (2024-2074), contained 168 references

to climate change, 714 to health, 152 to population changes

but only one reference to AI.

February’s World Economic Forum’s ‘Future of Jobs Report’,

there will be 170 million new jobs created by 2030. Deduct the

projected 94 million job losses and with technology leading

the charge we’ll have 78 million more jobs in five years time.

Pause to reread that.

The 1,000 global businesses the WEF surveyed and the OBR

are busy people, they don’t have the time to monitor AI’s

progress - unaware that it will be able to do the bulk of

economically valuable human tasks in the next three years.

Do nothing and by late 2027 US unemployment could hit

52.5m, up from 6m and the UK 9.5m increasing from today’s

1.5m.

OUR GOVERNMENTS HOPE

Job losses will start in late 2025, triggering a housing crash

worse than 2008. These aren’t subprime mortgages these are

genuine triple A.

When millions of salaries stop and jobs dry up, middle class

panic will kick in. Facing plunging values, negative equity or

losing their homes there will be a rush to sell. But no one buys

in a market without a bottom.

We live in a debt laden society—the average US/UK personal

debt $30k-$40k but decades of steady inflation has allowed

workers to move or remortgage to consolidate loans. Lose

your equity and that option dies. The dawn of a devastating

financial crisis is coming fast, but this time there will be no

bailout. There will be mass bankruptcy—individuals,

businesses and governments.

Starved of tax revenues, governments already facing a

pensions deficit, will have to balance funding critical budgets

with servicing historical debt. Surveillance and curfews will

be the only way to deal with social revolt, riots, increased

crime and desperation.

Welcome to AI’s eutopia. We hope it doesn’t happen.

AI CEOs stress that history shows we always survive

revolutions; we adapt and upskill. But this revolution is

different. It’s not comparable to electricity, cars or even the

internet. As futurist Ray Kurzweil says, AI equates to the birth

of written language 5,000 years ago.

Until now, technology has automated human processes;

‘thinking and reasoning’ AI automates human output. With

few exceptions, AI or AI-powered robots will soon do whatever

a human can, faster, cheaper and 24/7.

And it’s more than a one-for-one replacement. AI will

ultimately do the job of whole departments and business

operations—just like today‘s corporations off-shore customer

service to the Philippines and manufacturing to Vietnam—in

the future, AI will out-compete humans on almost

everything.

Yes, it is unthinkable, and as you would hope many

businesses who value their staff will push back, but as

competitors outsource operations to AI, it becomes a race to

the bottom. You have to adapt or die.

WE HOPE OUR ECONOMY

A tech elite is dragging us over a cliff. We have no parachute.

Whatever your principles, this new world order will bring a

fundamental change. Capitalism has its critics—we haven’t

got equality right—but it’s advanced our society, given us

opportunities to progress, and the right to

self-determination.

Techno-feudalism will sweep those rights aside, and

regardless of open source, giant tech corporations with the

deepest pockets will hold power. They own the trading

platform, the technology, the knowledge, the data, the route

to the customer, and the labour, too. That gives them control

of everything.

This power shift will impact us all. Paying workers created a

circular economy, but AI doesn’t buy products or services.

Without consumers, there is no incentive to invest in

infrastructure, real estate or business. Forget notional UBI; if

you destroy the middle class and those who aspire to it,

everyone struggles. Any business dependent on discretionary

spending will hit a wall.

All the tales we’ve heard of abundance will only benefit an

elite few. And our only strategy is HOPE.
